LET'S RAISE OUR HANDS TO THE SKY AND BEND OUR KNEES TO THE GROUND, WE CANNOT HOLD ON, EVERYTHING IS CHANGING

Do you see?

Life is not one dimensional,

it is not flat.

There is no straight line, no single layer.

To build a house is process,

to grow a tree is a seed buried

and split apart.

To change anything

is one step after another

in many directions.

And if we choose not to move—

life will

move us.

What I know now,

I did not know then.

What I will know,

will be built upon,

woven with,

blended into,

merged beside,

grown from

what exists now,

which was born

of yesterday.

Do you see?

This is continual,

everlasting, always

changing. This

circular, fluid,

this water ascending

and descending,

evaporating, flooding,

spilling our cups—

this dying,

decomposing,

melding underground,

and transforming,

this rebirthing,

embryo sprouting

new leaves, flowers,

fruit in our mouth.

This is creation,

an evolution.

Mind becoming

body becoming

earth becoming

universe becoming—

Do you see?
